DDeath,

I actually like the second version better.

Hands-down for me is Bobby Helms from ~ 1957: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_OG8CyKXO0

Are you in locked-down mode in Chicago Land? Else, can you get in your bakery and make me up 25 dozen boxes of cherry pastries for Christmas? Don't forget the powdered sugar on top!

I will give you The Christmas song by Nat King Cole, and then I will be silent because I hate Christmas music.

The only Christmas movie I will ever watch is "A Christmas Carol" with George C Scott.

Dazed,

I damn for sure knew that bringing Bobby Helms in here would draw you in!

Cole's Christmas classic is for sure the tops of all time, at least in our opinion.

Get your arse back to Oklahoma before Christmas!

I am wavering as to whether I should move or not. I am afraid of the huge tax increases that will come, and if the Democrats win Georgia there is no telling how bad it will get. I am actually looking at survival food like Hard Tack and Pemmican. It is not going to be pretty, and all of America will be run like California. Zagger and Evans where 500 years off with the song that should have been named In the year 2025.

Please let me hit the lottery and I will move to Grindelwald, Switzerland. It won't let me post the picture. https://www.facebook.com/Grindelwald.ch ... 880295618/

C’mon Tex, we all know the best version of Jingle Bell Rock was done by little Brenda Lee:

And no one can outdo her with this one:

I’d bet a 1,001 cherry turnovers on it!

DDeath, I despise A Christmas Story. A Christmas Carol is timeless. Just like almost all comedies I don't find anything cute or funny about that lamp. Scrooge is turned from being a cruel heartless man into a giving and caring man, and there are no stupid lamps in the movie. Marley speaks.

Too much emoting in that film, and kind of like a fairy tale with ghosts yet!

For a REAL lifelike experience (childhood), you have to watch “A Christmas Story” 3 or 4 times! I TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU.......
