Just got back from a vacation to Oklahoma. It was great to see a few of the people from the PO and a heck of a lot of people from the Tax Commission. I am not one for tourist attractions. I prefer sitting around drinking coffee and shooting the bull. With the PO people I think we remembered everybody from the past 30 years, a lot of whom have died. At the Tax Commission the place almost shut down, so many people came up to see me. I ate way too much over the week - a whole lot of Italian and BBQ. The last BBQ was pregame for OU. I have a friend whose house is 15 minutes walk from the stadium. The talk of the PO is the casers - that is going to be one hell of a mess. I stayed one night with Richard and his wife. He is a former union official and bowling partner and gun nut. I fired the Taurus Judge that uses both shotgun shells and bullets. The kick of those shotgun shells is something else.
One strange thing that happened to me was at the tailgate party for the OU game my friend brought a girl, she walked in and looked so familiar but she walked straight to the bathroom. She came out and introduced her, and it was a girl I knew about 7 years ago, and we used to talk a lot back then. It took a minute for her to remember me. Nothing ever happened between us although we went to the casino one time. Anyway we talked forever at the tailgate. Later that night I had to go to 7-Eleven and as I am walking in she is walking out. The 2 places I saw her are about 40 miles apart. That was freaky to see someone you haven't seen in 7 years twice in the same day. She kept asking if I was really leaving the next day, and I thought Oh Boy I had better let this one drop because she was with my friend, and I was with somebody.
The only time stranger that that was when I was on vacation in St Augustine when I worked in Lincoln Park, Mi. These religious people were collecting money on the street and the guy who came up to my car with a name badge on had the same name as the Postmaster of my office. I asked him, and he was the son of my Postmaster. 1200 miles from Lincoln Park to St Augustine. That was really freaky.
Has anybody else had experiences like this?

Yep. Reflections. Short term memory fades, and your seven-year episode with the lady is short term! Blood flow is diminishing!

Long term memory sticks like yesterday.

I didn't have a senior moment. I just thought that was very unusual.
