This is the most fantastic program ever on the radio. Dr. Dean Edell the master of critical thinking dissects medical information like you have never heard before.

Dazed,

I remember listening to the doc back in the early 80s. I believe (?) he was one of a handful of radio personalities linked to Talknet Radio. There was also a Dr. Harvey Rueben (psychiatrist) on late Sunday evenings, and I remember tuning into his show on DDeath's AM-89 (WLS) during the mid-80s. Then there was Bruce Willaims and a couple of others. These were great radio talk shows (forums) before the blast of syndicated platforms took over.

After 5000 shows: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjFnYD4OwgA

Bruce Williams, and one of my favorites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVuKy2TuHBc

For me, radio has always been the best medium for communication. AF(N)/AFRTS still blasts in my mind like it was yesterday from the 60s. Here's a clip from AF(V)N:

Speaking of Dr. Edell, my physical last month was excellent. But... I feel much older.
