Dazed,

There are days that I'm so full of bullshitz that my eyes turn a darker brown. I'm nuthen less than cursed!

Just don't compare me to Maxine Waters. Can you imagine me having her as Mrs. WestTX? God must've been looking after me.

These are crazy times. Check out Chris Plante and Michael Savage tomorrow. Chris Plante's satire keeps me living.

WindowMan mentioned something about Geezer's computer or password (being forgotten). Maybe I'd better get out to Winston-Salem and check on him.

I ain't no Socialist now. I'm a Goldwater conservative, thick and thin.

We need to have an online get-together for lunch or dinner. Good food makes good for everybody being sociable.

See you boys later.

As my former hero, Rudy Giuliani famously said yesterday, "truth isn't truth", and Kelly Ann who said "there are alternate facts".

Just remember, we didn't have fake news, until we had a fake president!

Good bye USA sovereignty but alas we cant stop it . it is in the Bible. And you are worried about a pres. who doesn't act presidentially. Trumps fiscal policies are not working out yet . At least we can hold our heads high again instead of kissing the asses of other countries like Obama did. LIKE I SAID ...THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS. WHAT CHOICE IS THERE .DEATH TO A NATION OR PRIDE OF A NATION.

Everyday I say to myself how the hell stupid this country was in electing Donald Trump for President. I mean there were no surprises about Trump's character and his dealings before he ran but the blinders were on most for the hate of the "evil" Hillary Clinton and her stupid emails. Compare that with Trump now and it seems like a joke! Trump is nothing but corruption who took a ride on the GOP to become President selling them and their supporters a bill of goods that will never come true. With all of this crap hitting the so called "fake" news headlines every damn day you have to say to yourself how the hell can anyone with any intelligence still support this guy? Trump acts like a Dictator in training who has said the free media is the enemy of the people, who anyone who knows history who made that statement. Just think about it, label the media free press as the enemy of the people. An "Authoritarian" who wants power to remove anyone who disagrees with him.

All Trump does is to inflate his base with red meat everyday and divide our country to a point never seen before and I challenge any of you to say to me that makes our country stronger. He plays the Putin playbook better than Putin himself and with all of the evidence brought forward he still thinks that were not involved. Does not take a rocket scientist to figure that one out! Trumps associates are dropping like flies and the dominoes will keep falling. I cannot wait to see this man resign or get impeached and it will be a great day in our country when it happens! I am glad as hell I didn't get taken in with Trump!

Thanks for your flawed opinion Window,,YOU SAY TOMATO ,I SAY TOMAHTO....Trump was elected because somebody had to stop the new radical catastrophic mindless democrat party that was leading us to hell in a handbasket. what the hell happened to the old democrats who were responsible and rational and NOT filled with POLITICALLY CORRECT IMMORALITY..Thank God the Republicans intervened, even if it had to be Trump. I would like if it were someone else but he is like an Angel compared to what could have crawled in to the presidency

Still waiting for replies to my previous questions to Dazed and VetClerk...

In the meantime...saw this: (and I agree)

Dear Republicans:
For the past eighteen months, many of you have chosen to ignore the president’s attacks on the courts, on the FBI, on the Justice Department, on the First Amendment and on standards of decorum observed by every other president. You have ignored his alleged receipt of foreign emoluments in violation of the Constitution. By and large, most of you have refused to confront his racist outbursts and his serial lies. Some have even joined in attempts to smear the FBI and DOJ. Your leadership has refused to take action to protect special counsel Robert S. Mueller III and Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein despite the real risk the president intends to fire them or, perhaps in the case of Mueller, impair his work by revoking his security clearance.

Now the president’s lawyer Michael Cohen has implicated him in the commission of a crime as part of a plea deal. With that development and the conviction or pleas of other top associates the president can no longer claim the investigation is a “witch hunt” or does not concern him.
The Justice Department under unprecedented pressure and abuse from the White House has done its job, as have federal courts. Congress, however, has not. With a little over 2 months before all House members, a batch of incumbent GOP senators, numerous GOP gubernatorial and state legislative candidates face the voters, you have several options, which I’ll now describe.

The first option is to do nothing, to continue excusing and rationalizing the president’s behavior. After Cohen’s plea and Manafort’s conviction, not to mention the indictment of two of Trump’s earliest House Republican supporters (Chris Collins and Duncan Hunter) the voters may come to view the GOP as a hotbed of corruption. Voters have good reason to conclude you will never hold the president accountable for any of his actions, and that therefore, to preserve our constitutional system, Republicans up and down the ballot must lose in convincing fashion. History will regard those who were inert during this time as political cowards and fools.

The second option is to prevent the runaway train. Protections for both Mueller and Rosenstein can be concretized in law. A select, bipartisan committee can be formed to review actions to date and determine the scope of possible illegality in the administration. It could also make recommendations, which may include statutory anti-corruption measures and initiation of impeachment proceedings. The Supreme Court confirmation hearing for Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh must be held in abeyance. Should the president be found to have committed crimes in pursuit of the presidency, Kavanaugh’s position on the high court would be tainted. (Even if Trump leaves the presidency, Vice President Pence would ascend to the presidency and could at that point renominate Kavanaugh.) If the special counsel exonerates the presidency, Kavanaugh’s confirmation could proceed forthwith. These actions would demonstrate to voters that you have some appreciation for your oaths of office and constitutional duties.

The last option is to tear the bandage off now. Trump is a menace to the country and threatens to destroy the GOP as currently constituted. Disown Trump and repudiate his actions. Call for his resignation and embrace Pence as the leader of your party. Reject Trump’s receipt of emoluments and demand he sever ownership of his many business enterprises which pose an ongoing conflict of interest. Subpoena his tax returns and/or pass legislation requiring they be disclosed. In taking these moves you would disable Democrats’ campaign built around the need for a check on the presidency; you might even hold the House. In any event, your conscience would be clear and the party would have the opportunity to pick a new nominee for 2020.

I am under no illusion as to your preferred route. You then should be under no illusions as to the electoral fate that awaits you and the legacy you will leave. Choose wisely.

Kind regards,
JR (Jennifer Rubin-WP)

Keepitreal, Just think about the motivations to elect Trump in the first place, the main reason the hate for Hillary Clinton brought on by endless investigations in which "NOTHING" was found. Why they spend more time on those investigations than the one for the 9/11 attack. They grilled her for nine plus hours with question and got nothing out of them. Wonder if "Trump" would agree to do that? The one thing they got out of it is the "missing emails" which they hold onto today with still being played like a broken record. What gets me is that where is all of this fervor of justice with Trump? Where is the outrage of true facts before them? I mean if Obama did a quarter of the things Trump has done up till now he would have been impeached by epic means! They continue to shut their eyes and cover their ears to what Trump has done and is doing by his wreck-less tweets. I say Trump was elected by hate of Clinton and the people who voted for him buying a Con Man's sell to them. The facts about Trump's character was before them but the hate for Clinton eclipsed them by the help of the right winged media and just maybe Putin's work himself.

Anyone with half of a brain can figure out Trump and his flawed character. Why else would he screen the people at his rallies? Why else does he demonize the free press all of the time calling them the "enemy of the people"? Why does he show a likeness for Authoritarian leaders? This guy is a disaster for our country and if it were not for the stock market returns brought mainly to the wealthiest of country, maybe more would think with their morality instead of their own greed. Yes,I call them out and talk about hypocrisy at its finest.

We were a pretty divided country in 2016. Trump could have decided to bring us closer together...…… but beginning with his inaugural speech, he has widened the gap between the left and right. Sadly, when he is gone, the gap will be exponentially harder to close...…... :(
