I was laying down to go to bed and this one just jumped into my head out of nowhere. Things come out of the blue like that all the time.

My dad had a picture taken with Pattti Page.

I have no memory of this but Guido Salvador and my family insists I sat on the curb singing this song as my neighbor across the street was preparing for her wedding. They say she burst out crying.

DDeth I watched the history of Unchained Melody, and I think the Righteous Brothers, and Al Hibler had the best versions.

My 2 favorite songs of this type are Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water, I actually think Art Garfunkel's vocal is better than my 2nd song Unchained Melody. This is a fantastic song, and Arthur Prysock's voice can not be matched.

My Barbara is Barbara Lewis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5BRuWS9iAk

DDeath: My graduation was a year earlier in 1959 at age 16, then I turned 17 in August. I probably didn't have to take as many school courses as you! I was a right obedient student, cuz otherwise my UNCLE would've beat my arse!

Dazed: Arthur Prysock comes back to mind as if were yesterday, and his voice reminds me of Jerry Butler: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrZ7NfwNBEk

Let's not forget Johnny Hartman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tywWrEmLI5M

Time passes...

I would put Arthur Prysock and Billy Eckstein together. You pulled Johnny Hartman out of your hat, believe it or not he is one I didn't know.
WestTx, We both played a Barbara Lewis song, she had such a sexy voice.
