The Dazed Radio Hour on Saturdays!

Does anyone remember Major Lance? I do...

I'd like to dedicate his song, Monkey Time to CNN's radical, Jeffrey Toobin -- most notably known for pounding his pud (monkey) on a recent Zoom call. I'm working on revising the lyrics.

No, Donald trump wasn't behind this, but Don Lemon, another CNN radical might have been the instigator.

It's too damn quiet in here.

Tex, I think you have a Petula fetish.
Here is my main man singing a beautiful song.

That gotdamn Rod Stewart sounds like he's got acid reflux.

How about some Henry Mancini? --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhrXfgMgz4w

OK. Let's try Sara Vaughn: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJXLqAutql4

Sorry Tex, but I will take Sarah over Petula. As for Rod, that voice is what made him. Maggie May was so unique that it took the charts by storm.
Listen to the Ink Spots, the precursor to the Platters.

The Platters, I consider Tony Williams to be the greatest lead singer ever.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FygIKsnkCw

Freddie Mercury was the next best lead singer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kijpcUv-b8M

I have to go with Grace Slick as the best female lead singer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXZtnqT4uxM

Linda Ronstadt was with the Stone Ponies but her best songs came after she left them.

Of course Grace and Linda have the look that drives me crazy. :D That is why I married my first wife.

The prettiest song ever.

Gotdamn, Dazed!

You've covered the entire Oklahoma to Texas land range with your last post.

Both Ucanit and you agreed on the Platters and Tony Williams, and thumbs-up! I don't have any fetish over Petula Clark. She's just a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice.

Finally, I do remember the Ink Spots. My Uncle did a lot of radio listening in his spare time, so I was introduced to music early-on. Those old Zenith radio receivers were something else, and they were manufactured in Chicago Land!
